Salut cette semaine!
To round off the first half of my teaching experience here (but by no means the first half of the time I plan to stay here), I have decided to choose just one picture (harder than you would think considering I’ve accumulated 1000+ photos since being here) from every single place I have visited during my short but incredible time here. WordPress seems to have made these pictures worse quality but I hope you enjoy anyway…
Anyone who knows me here in France, will know my distaste towards Marseille. But it’s a good place for some photo ops.
This is actually the town that I work in. Here is the view of the ‘city centre’ of Fuveau.
Such a lovely village, and we had a wonderful, long lunch. This photo sums up the Provençal atmosphere of the village.
Beautiful grid of cobbled streets with boutiques and cafés. I can imagine it would be incredible in the summertime.
Fell in love with Montpellier and the city, studenty vibe it had. I love the photo below.
Luckily, I went visited Nice on an absolute scorcher. Walking down the Promenade des anglais shown below was a highlight.
Copenhagen is by far my favourite place I’ve ever travelled to. I know I’ll be going back soon. So beautiful.
This was a very chilling moment. Under my feet, on the 30th April 1945, Hitler committed suicide.
After an amazing birthday weekend to finish my teens, I watched this beautiful sunset in beautiful Arles.
Barrage de Bimont
I decided to forget my camera on a beautiful day hiking in Barrage de Bimont. But it’s still beautiful on a crap phone.
This is a very quaint, wealthy town still in the Provence area of France. I fell in love with this town and all it’s boutiques.
This is a hike very near to Aix that sounded easy. It was practically vertical. Made for nice views though.
This was the perfect way to end a perfect year. Here is the view from our apartment. Incredible.
