Dictionary.com’s word of the day is pugnacious. What does that mean, you may ask. Well…
1. Inclined to quarrel or fight readily; quarrelsome; belligerent; combative.
My reasoning for writing this post is that I love this blog, and I love to share content and thoughts. Every night as I’m falling asleep, my brain has so many ideas and thoughts for blog posts, yet I’m too tired to write them down and I’ve forgotten about them until my blog pops back in to my head, and I become inspired to write and create, yet my mind goes blank.
Anyway, back to being pugnacious.
Besides everything else, this word reminds me that I love pugs.
This may come as a surprise to people who know me in real life, as I’m terrified of dogs. It’s completely subconscious for me but my parents have told me it’s because a dog jumped in to my pram and stole my ice-cream when I was younger. Not much has changed really.
But pugs are so cute. Ugly cute.
And I could see myself being 35 and having a pug.
